Kílala Lelum Urban Indigenous Health
and Healing Cooperative

Facilities Coordinator (0.6-0.8 FTE)

We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator who is organized, efficient, and able to make informed, strategic decisions independently. The ability to multitask, liaise with diverse stakeholders, and remain proactive and adaptable is a must in our dynamic environment across three physical spaces in Vancouver’s DTES. You will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, an understanding of the needs/requirements of healthcare settings, and the desire to work with a team of committed, multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual passionate about innovation and striving for excellence as we work toward our shared goal of decolonizing healthcare and promoting health and wellness equity in the Downtown Eastside (DTES).

Job Summary:

The Facilities Coordinator (0.6-0.8 FTE), supported by Kilala Lelum’s Executive Director, Clinic Manager, and Administrative positions, will serve as first point of contact for a variety of external stakeholders; assess occasionally complex needs and make informed recommendations and decisions; and oversee the growing network of Kilala Lelum spaces in an effort to support the smooth operations of our various teams, programs, and worksites.

We are seeking an individual with an interest in taking on existing tasks/responsibilities, envisioning new opportunities for growth and improvement, and working alongside colleagues in striving to ground our organization and practices in an Indigenous framework while practicing principles of anti-racism, decolonization, diversity, and inclusion.
